| Jets vs Patriots Both teams are 0-1 coming into week 2. This rivalry has been pretty much one sided with the Patriots frequently leaving as the victor but I see that changing this year. The patriots lack offensive weapons outside of Gronkowski and the defense doesn't fare much better. The Jets now operating behind Geno Smith are surprisingly the superior team on offense and are much more balanced with Chris Ivory providing the ground work.
Jets 34 Patriots 21
Rams vs Falcons The Falcons have potentially the most explosive offense in the league and they put up the yardage to prove it, unfortunately they also have a problem turning the ball over. 2 passing TDs, 2 rushing TDs and 6 interceptions will not win them any games in this league. The Rams while not as explosive on offense are efficient with 2 TDs to 1 turnover, but they more then make up for their average offense with a stingy defense. The Rams defense only allowed 54 yards rushing, adding on 2 sacks and 3 interceptions. Defense still wins games.
Rams 35 Falcons 17
Chargers vs Eagles This game is hard to call only because I do not know the Chargers owner and he hasn't played his week 1 game. The eagles on defense aren't anything special, they gave up 250 yards total and 2 TDs while gaining only 1 take away. They do however boast a well balanced offense that feature a great rushing attack. In week 1 they put up 143 rushing yards, 4 rushing TDs, 17 1st downs, a perfect 10/10 in 3rd down conversions while not turning the ball over once. That doesn't bold well for the Chargers questionable defense and turnover happy offense.
Chargers 10 Eagles 28
Cowboys vs Chiefs One of THE games to watch this week. Both teams are run very similar, the rushing attack takes center stage while the passing game is efficient enough to keep defenses on their toes. Both defenses are tough against the run while being a little more vulnerable in the passing game. The chiefs are efficient on offense gaining a total of 16 first downs on offense but they were also 0/3 in 3rd down conversions. Although the cowboys only gained 10 first downs they were 4/8 in 3rd down conversions. Keeping drives alive and allowing your defense to rest as well as putting up some kind of points win you games. If the chiefs can be efficient the whole game and get those conversions and minimize the turnovers they can win, I don't feel they can against a stout cowboys defense.
Cowboys 31 Chiefs 21
Dolphins vs Colts This is a game where you forget about last week. The Colts demolished a Raiders team that would have a hard time competing against top high school teams. The Dolphins lose a hard fought close game to a tough Browns team. The Dolphins are well balanced on offense but aren't efficient enough in converting crucial 3rd down plays. They also aren't great on defense but are good about minimizing points allowed. The Colts didn't allow the Raiders offense room to do anything but it is the Raiders offense after all. On offense the colts ran the ball well but weren't really efficient and should have scored a lot more points then they did.
Dolphins 17 Colts 14
Titans vs Texans The Texans have not played their week 1 game yet so I am going off of knowledge on both owners and teams. The Titans were ran over by the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 1 allowing 188 yards on the ground and 199 yards threw the air to go with it. They do boast a good ground game of their own but were 0/6 in 3rd down conversions and had 2 giveaways that killed their momentum. The Texans have a good Oline and a tandem of running backs that can easily gain 100 yards each. They also have one of the best defenses in the league against the run and pass. Unless the Titans can increase their efficiency and put up points the Texans should get the W here.
Titans 17 Texans 24
Redskins vs Packers This game is a tough one to call. The Redskins while not spectacular on offense are balanced and efficient. However on defense they are vulnerable against the pass and run, allowing 300 yards in offense and forcing no turnovers. The Packers have no balance on offense whatsoever, they are gonna pass, pass, pass and they don't care if you are expecting it. They put up 260 yards passing in week 1, with 2 TDs and 5 turnovers. If the Redskins can raise their pass defense and get a couple of key turnovers they control this game, I just don't think they can.
Redskins 21 Packers 24
Browns vs Ravens Year in and year out the Browns are hands down the worst team in the NFL, have things changed this year? They squeezed out a victory over the Dolphins in week 1 but this week they face a much tougher Ravens team. The defending champion Ravens started off the season much like the way they ended last season, they put up over 480 yards of offense in a well balanced attack. They never faced a 3rd down situation and on defense limited the Broncos to 71 rushing yards while racking up 6 sacks and 2 turnovers. They did have 5 giveaways but they still came out with the win.
Browns 10 Ravens 31
Panthers vs Bills This is another game where I just don't know the Panthers owner and he hasn't played his first game. The Panthers have a team built to run over the competition. Cam Newton, Jonathon Stewart and Deangelo Williams can throw a lot of looks at defenses and cause confusion and chaos. The defense has some nice pieces as well but are vulnerable in the secondary. The Bills in week 1 played lights out. On offense they were well balanced and had only 1 mistake. On defense they limited the other team to 56 yards rushing while forcing 4 takeaways and adding 5 sacks. If the bills continue to play like that they will runaway with the AFC east title.
Panthers 17 Bills 28
Vikings vs Bears I don't know whats going on with the Vikings ownership but they definitely wanna get their shit together and play this game. The Bears last week gave up 234 yards rushing to the Bengals...you heard that right the Bengals. Sure their offense got in gear and put up almost 300 in the air but they also gave up 4 turnovers. You do not allow 230+ yards rushing and give the other team the ball 4 times and leave with a win. The Vikings have Adrian Peterson...need I say more. This prediction depends on posh taking ownership or not.
Posh Vikings 35 Bears 21, CPU Vikings 17 Bears 24
Saints vs Buccaneers I don't do predictions on my own games but I will do a summary. Both teams play similar and one of these teams if not both are making the playoffs. Both teams defensively focus on takeaways, the Saints forced 6 and the Buccs forced 5. The total yardage gained, allowed, points scored, points allowed are all nearly identical with one difference. The Buccaneers had 3 giveaways and the Saints protected the ball.
Lions vs Cardinals The Lions haven't played their game yet but at least I know blue pretty well. The Cardinals have the potential to be really good but they need to work on limiting their mistakes and trying to establish a running game, getting Doug Martin is a good start. Their defense is pretty good but not great but they do have the pieces in place to get better. The Lions have a high powered offense, getting reggie bush into the mix will help them a lot this year. Their defense has some nice pieces in place but they are vulnerable in the back end. If the Cardinals can take advantage of the holes in the secondary and limit their mistakes they should be able to keep megatron and company at bay.
Lions 24 Carinals 27
Jaguars vs Raiders Game of the Week!!! <--- That was sarcasm by the way. All jokes aside the Raiders are already playing for 1st overall pick in the draft. They were completely embarrassed in week 1 and I dont see that getting better in week 2. The Jaguars offense accounted for 400 yards and only made one mistake. They had 4 sacks and 1 takeaway on defense. I would strongly advise everyone to play the Jaguars defense in your fantasy football leagues its gonna be one of those game for the Raiders.
Jaguars 42 Raiders 9
Broncos vs Giants Although both teams started out 0-1 they both are really good teams that will probably make the playoffs. The Broncos have the better team but you cannot count out these Giants. The Giants have a defensive line that can provide instant pressure and the Broncos have given up 6 sacks already. If the Giants can force Peyton Manning into making mistakes they can steal this one. Giants lose 2 nail biters in a row.
Broncos 24 Giants 21
49ers vs Seahawks The seahawks haven't played their first game yet but this is sure to be a battle. The 49ers in week 1 for well balanced on offense but did have a couple of costly turnovers, they did however make up for it on defense forcing 5 turnovers of their own and limiting their opponents 31 yards on the ground. The Seahawks are no slouches and boast talent everywhere. Their defense is full of pro bowlers and overachievers and they have a balanced offense with big play potential.
49ers 24 Seahawks 21
Steelers vs Bengals The AFC North has 4 1-0 teams this going into week 2 showing the league just how powerful this division is. On offense both of these teams can move the ball efficiently but the way the Bengals went about it was a lot more impressive. 234 yards on the ground in week 1, that is how you control the clock and win a football game. On defense the Steelers are a lot better against the pass then the Bengals are but they allowed 136 yards rushing opposed to the Bengals only allowing 34 rushing yards. The Bengals had 6 sacks and 4 takeaways in week 1, th Steelers had 1 sack and 2 takeaway. The Bengals are playing at an elite level and could challenge the Ravens for the AFC North crown, the Steelers are no pushover but I expect this to go to the Bengals.
Steelers 20 Bengals 35

Broncos 24 Giants 21 Damn Juan you couldn't have gotten any closer even if your people had tunneled under the boarder and right up into the stadium. Broncos 27 Giants 24. | |
